Pros and cons

Pros

  • Windows integration
  • Office
  • 1TB with Microsoft 365

Cons

  • Free 5GB
  • Microsoft ecosystem

Our review

OneDrive is built into Windows and Microsoft Office. You get 5GB free; Microsoft 365 subscriptions include more storage (e.g. 1TB) and Office apps. Editing Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in the browser is seamless. On Windows, you can back up important folders to OneDrive. Best if you already use Microsoft products.

We recommend OneDrive for Windows and Office users who want integrated storage and editing. For non-Microsoft users, Google Drive or Dropbox may be more flexible. Personal Vault adds an extra layer of protection for sensitive files.
